1 Corinthians 4: 1-2

31 August, 2020

You should think of us as Christ’s servants, put in charge of God’s secret truths. The one thing required of such a servant is that he be faithful to his master.- 1 Corinthians 4:1–2

Heavenly Father, our hearts, blessed and grateful, lift in joyous acclaim, our voices joining the heavenly multitude in praise and glory of you, in wonderment that our magnificent God has included us as the mainstay of his creation and the mysteries of his universe revolves around our salvation and inheritance and adoption into his kingdom. You enthrall us Lord, with your entity, and the astounding reality that we can rest in your palm contentedly, that our very life is shaped by your Word, defined by your Promises and immortalized by your gift of Eternal Salvation. The mysteries, the doctrines, are relative to the salvation of the world by the passion and death of Christ; and the inspiration, illumination, and purification of the soul by the Spirit of Christ, constitutes a principal part of the Divine treasure entrusted to us as caretakers and stewards of your ministry and its dispensation to the children of the Church, which is the house of God. Eternal life is the gift you bequeathed us. No dark shadow of evil, principalities of terror can ever destroy us or wreak havoc on us, with you as our head. The church was formed for our instruction in the faith, our grasping of the revelation of its mysteries, our ministry and mission to spread your gospel. Lord, we entreat that you bless our evangelistic work as faithful custodians of the Truth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
