And we know that God causes all things to work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.
Romans 8:28
Eternal Father, All-powerful God, you have created the whole world and are able to redeem and restore anything for our good and for your glory, for nothing is impossible for you. Lord, as sinners, we use many things for our own selfish purposes, for wickedness of all kinds, changing the very nature of your creation. We are undeserving and ungrateful, yet you come to our aid, rescue us and turn the most terrible situation around to good purpose.
Life places us into very tricky circumstances, but when we place implicit faith and trust in your unfailing promises, your infinite love, your great goodness and your inexhaustible mercy and faithfulness, we are completely assured that our God will be on our side when we call out to you. We know that you will rescue and guide us back home.
For only your plans can and will turn all things for good. Help us when we sin, to pay the consequences and resolve to change according to your discipline.
We are your children Lord, and abiding in Christ, we need to transform ourselves in accordance with the purpose you have created us for. We have the incredible promise that you are always with us and your indwelling Spirit comforts and counsels us to seek to honor your call. Father, you have chosen us and it is not your will that any of us should perish, but that all should come to faith in Christ Jesus. There is no condemnation and no separation from you, as long as Jesus lives in us and according to your redemptive plan, you gently transform us into the image of our Lord Jesus, in Whose name we pray. Amen
