Your word, O Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you. Psalm 119:89–91, NIV
We adore and glorify you, Lord God, Sovereign Majesty, Omniscient and Eternal. Creation rests on the power of your word, and that word, once uttered, acquires permanency in the firmament, irretractable and immutable, never changing, abiding and steadfast. It generates through the heavens in the continuity of the humming of praises by the heavenly entities and has been and will serve as the foundation of our faith and hope in you, for generations gone by and those to follow, as the earth continues its unstoppable revolutions in accordance with your ordinances. It is your word, embodied in the scriptures and maintained down the ages by your Covenant to us, which replenishes our soul in the unshakable belief that, just as the earth rotates on its axis with precision, your promises to mankind will endure for eternity. In this we place our trust, as all things, great and small, pay homage to your splendor. Save us, O Gracious God, in Jesus’ Name we implore. Amen
