“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7
Heavenly Father, our Provider, Deliverer and Sustainer, I thank You for the strength You have given me to fight the fair fight. Life often presents challenges, temptations, and battles, both seen and unseen. Yet, in every struggle, You have been my fortress and shield. You have equipped me with Your Word, which is sharper than any two-edged sword, with the presence of the Holy Spirit to guide and sustain me. I pray that I may continue to stand firm in faith, never wavering, even when the path is difficult. Help me to remember that I am not fighting alone. You are with me, and Your power is made perfect in my weakness.
Lord, as I run this race of life, I ask for the endurance to persevere to the end. The race is long, and there are times when I feel weary and burdened. But I am encouraged by Your promise that those who hope in You will renew their strength and soar on wings like eagles. Grant me the grace to keep pressing forward, focusing on the eternal prize that awaits me. Help me to run with purpose, not aimlessly, but with my eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith, and my faithful Redeemer.
Father, above all, I ask that I may keep the faith. In a world that often seeks to distract, discourage, and lead me astray, I pray for a steadfast heart. May I remain rooted in Your truth, holding fast to the hope I profess. Let my faith be unwavering, growing stronger with each passing day as I trust in Your promises, with the faith that I too will fight a good fight and persevere, till I have completed the challenge, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
