JESUS CHRIST: THE CHIEF CORNERSTONE

“This is the stone you builders rejected, which has become the chief cornerstone. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” –Acts 4:11-12

Apostle Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, spoke with boldness before the Sanhedrin (the Jewish High Court). He had surrendered completely to his Lord and, with confidence in whom he served, declared that Jesus is the Messiah and there is no other. Though he stood before them as a prisoner, Peter courageously proclaimed the truth: the very one they had rejected had now become the chief cornerstone, upholding God’s perfect plan for salvation.

There is only one path to heaven—Jesus Christ, the true Messiah. It is only through Him that we can be saved. His death in our place paid the price for humanity’s sins, and only by accepting His sacrifice can we receive forgiveness. The name of Jesus is the source of deliverance and salvation for all who believe, repent of their sins, and follow Him with their whole hearts. Jesus’ name has been given to all nations as the only way to escape God’s righteous judgment brought on by sin.

SUGGESTED PRAYER

Thank You, Father God, for Your perfect plan of salvation in Jesus Christ. Through Him alone, I can reach heaven and be saved from Your wrath. Thank You, Jesus, for being the chief cornerstone, holding together the plan of salvation and forgiving my sins through Your sacrifice. Please help me to stay faithful to You, to have the courage to defend my faith, and to live in a way that reflects Your presence in my life. May those around me see that I belong to You and may my actions glorify You in all I do. Thank You for the incredible power in Your name, whenever I proclaim it in faith. Glory and praise to Your holy name, forever and ever. Amen
