GOD’S SPECIAL CALLING FOR EVERYONE
“For it is God who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.” – 2 Timothy 1:9-10
Through Jesus Christ, we have received far more than salvation. God the Father has designed a unique “holy calling” for each of us—a purpose through which He desires us to live a pure and righteous life. In Jesus, we have been gifted immense grace and a life filled with meaning. Before the foundation of the world, God ordained that His Son would die for our sins and conquer death, granting eternal life to all who believe in Him and walk in His ways, fulfilling His Gospel.
Jesus is the source of true life, the sole path to the Father, and the embodiment of truth. Each of us feels a distinct pull toward a specific purpose or area of service. Just as no two people or lives are identical, there is a unique role for each of us in this world—an opportunity to excel, glorify God, and expand His kingdom. God, in His perfection, knows why He has chosen us for particular callings, and His plans are always flawless.
SUGGESTED PRAYER
Lord God, thank You for creating me with a purpose and calling me to a holy life. Please guide me to understand Your plans for me and give me the strength to fulfill them. Help me to wait patiently for Your perfect timing, knowing You will prepare me for the road ahead. Confirm my calling through wise and mature believers, and open the right doors to lead me in the right direction. Thank You, Jesus, for Your grace and guidance. Amen
