And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth? Luke 18:7– 8
God of Peace and Justice, we, your faithful elect profusely give glory and praise for the mighty blessings you bestow and your sustaining grace. Lord, though we keep offending you with iniquities committed in moments of impulse and weakness, you forgive us more times than we merit and you endure oppression at length, up-to the very end, before interposing on behalf of your people.
You mete out justice at the appropriate time, for our evaluation of time is not yours. And when you avenge your people against the tyranny of malignant assaults, the opponents are quickly, completely and unexpectedly destroyed, for the deliverance of your chosen ones.
Lord, in our mortal nature we are exposed to attacks from all quarters and may be intimidated into acting contrary to your holy will. Save us from perilous situations such as these, Lord and may we unflinchingly profess our faith, especially when attacked by our adversaries. Our Lord Jesus sacrificed his life for our salvation. Let us honor him with every breath, living truthfully and testifying to our faith in your revealed truths, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
1 Prayer
Father in the name of Jesus, I call you as the God of Israel. Oh that you would bless me indeed and that you would enlarge my territory, that your hand can be with me, protect me from evil so that I may not bare pain. Amen
