See that none render evil for evil unto any man, but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. – 1 Thessalonians 5:15
Almighty and Eternal God, we give glory and thanks, praise and humble oblation as partakers and as citizens of your Heavenly Kingdom, chosen by our faith and baptism in Christ and our adoption to sonship, by abiding in Christ, through rebirth by the Power of the indwelling Spirit in our lives. With the new covenant of love by which every Christian lives, we need to have fellowship in love and selflessness, kindness and faithfulness, giving pardon and showing mercy even to our foes, to kill hatred and sow seeds of love in the hearts of our fellowmen.
Give all who overseer, the courage, clarity and resolution needed to fulfill such a huge commission entrusted to us. By engaging to free our hearts of rancour, jealousy and revenge, help us to make sure that the community of believers are bound in integrity, stability and righteousness of purpose. May every good work be approached with your grace and blessings and reap fruitful harvests, for the glory of your Name, gathering more people unto you.
As Christians, we need to conform our lives to emulate the life of Jesus, towards not only our own brethren, but also to unbelievers, in order to help communicate at opportune moments, the precepts of our faith. Our calling requires dedication of the spirit towards spreading the good news of eternal salvation to all men, even to our enemy, and to render to them acts of mercy and beneficence, by uplifting their souls through prayer and instruction of the glory of our God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
