In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. Daniel 2:44
Merciful God, you are the God of Heaven and earth, the King of kings. You have promised your faithful people and prophesied that the day is nearing when you will swoop down upon the earth and establish your everlasting Kingdom, the Kingdom of your Anointed, Appointed and only beloved Son, Jesus Christ, which will supernaturally and systematically overthrow every wicked ruler, and endure forever, to the glory of your Name.
We are living in the last days, the days of slowly progressing brutality, wickedness, terror, persecution and heinous crime. Even though man has made incredible progress and inventions of significant earthly magnitude, we have been brought to our knees by a pandemic which has subjected us to isolation and desolation and the fear of the wrath of God. Father, you know the direction the future will take, for you are the beginning and the end, even before the foundation of the world.
You purposed to redeem your fallen race through the Person and Work of your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. He won the victory over every enemy of our soul on a cross, when he shed his blood to atone for the sin of the whole world. Thank you for revealing your purpose and plan through the prophets and other holy men, that every evil power will soon be crushed by the heel of Christ. Your faithful will continue to evangelize and open the eyes of those who have been blinded spiritually, bringing many into your Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
