So let us come near to God with a sincere heart and a sure faith, with hearts that have been purified from a guilty conscience and with bodies washed with clean water. Hebrews 10:22, TEV
Heavenly Father, we reverently acknowledge that you are our God, Living, Almighty and Eternal. Your works are magnificent and your love sublime. We approach you with full confidence and courage in the knowledge that we are no longer slaves but your children, Father God. You have made a new Covenant with us through the Blood of your Son and our Lord, Jesus Christ, and by his death we have received deliverance from sin and guilt and the reward of eternal life. You are sole custodian of our lives, right from our mother’s womb and we beseech you, through the gift of your Holy Spirit, to lead us always, from darkness into the power of your revealing light. Bestow us with grace and help us achieve holiness and purity of mind and body, living according to the purpose of your Holy Will. This we ask in Jesus’ Name. Amen
