You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant. Hebrews 12:22–24a
Heavenly Father, we worship your Holy Name and unite with the innumerable ethereal beings in raising our voices in praise of our Almighty God. You have given us a new Covenant, entrusted to us by Jesus our Messiah, counting us among the citizens of heaven by our faith and belief, forgiving our sins and turning your wrath away and we joyfully acclaim our new status as children and co-heirs of your Kingdom.
As believers in the Resurrection and Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ and as believers that we are the newborn of your Kingdom by faith in the sacrificial offering of the Lamb, we are in perfect reconciliation with you Father, freed from the bondage of sin and death and given the heavenly possession of the city of the Living God, as already attained by us for eternity, who are in Christ Jesus.
It is only because of Jesus that we have been reconciled to you Father, Who was ever unapproachable, and Who we feared because of the sheer splendor of your Majesty. But the Blood of Christ has washed us pure of sin and made us worthy to experience your Divine Presence, become recipients of your free, dispensing Grace and enjoy the benefit of your Providence through deliverance and adoption by you to eternal sonship.
The future is already determined for us, and by the blessings that we have in Jesus Christ, and by our merits, we become rewardees of the city of the Living God, and will dwell with the glorious assembly of angels, as children of the Most High, made pure in righteousness by our Mediator and resting in the safety of the unshakable Promises of the New Covenant, in the Name of Jesus. Amen
