At that time I will answer the prayers of my people Israel. I will make rain fall on the earth, and the earth will produce grain and grapes and olives. I will establish my people in the land and make them prosper. I will show love to those who were called “Unloved,” and to those who were called “Not-My-People” I will say, “You are my people,” and they will answer, “You are our God.” Hosea 2:21–23, TEV
Merciful Father, how great your love for your children that you bless us with plenty, with your grace and justice, your mercy and steadfastness notwithstanding our human fickleness and folly. You minister to our every need by giving order to the whole of creation, the land and the sea, the hills and the plains, the skies and the heavens, which bow before you and reverently worship and acknowledge you as God. The cravings of mankind do not go unheard by you. You rain your kindness on the just and unjust, the believers and unbelievers alike and you restore us to newness of spirit and embrace us in the fullness of your love. With joyful acclaim and in Jesus’ Name we sing your glorious praises and declare that you are our Father God, Almighty and Eternal. Amen
