We had all gone astray like sheep, all following our own way; But the Lord laid upon him the guilt of us all.
Isaiah 53:6
Lord God, your unfathomable love and mercy is like balm to our troubled and weary souls, soothing and comforting, uplifting and healing. All of mankind place their hopes on the unfailing faithfulness of God, the Redeemer and Consoler, the giver of the peace of the Holy Spirit, to all who believe by faith in your promises, Jews and Gentiles alike.
Lord, as our human nature is one of sinfulness, we have been preyed upon and easily ensnared by the evil one, losing all sense of right and wrong, turning away from you and becoming gullible victims of worldly pleasures and vices. We lost sight of your way, your precepts and your commandments like sheep, which are apt to straggle and lose themselves, straying from the flock and their shepherd, lost in vales of darkness of our inherent sinful inclinations.
To save us from the pits of our own multitudinous iniquities, you sent Jesus Christ, your only begotten Son, as the prophesied Messiah, Deliverer, Savior and Redeemer who became our surety, undertook to pay the debt, and to suffer the law in our stead, and for our sake. It is with transformed and grateful hearts that we kneel before you in prayerful contrition, giving thanks for the infinite, inimitable majesty of your love for us. Honor and glory to our Good Shepherd, the Divine Mercy. With righteousness and your grace we will come into your presence Lord, in Jesus’ Name. Amen

Dear Lord – I am so grateful to you for blessing me with caring children and good health. Keep all my dear ones close to you always and draw them nearer to You in prayer, reaching out to the needy in your name and leading others to you by their good examples. Thank you dear Jesus for everything.
