For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. Isaiah 62:1
God our Father, we rejoice and are glad that we belong to the congregation of Christians, the followers of our Savior and Messiah, who had formed his Church under the stewardship of Peter. The multitude of followers have increased and multiplied and we glorify your holy name for giving us your beloved Son Jesus, who has saved and delivered us and who abides in us and we in him, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We make the solemn declaration that you are the only one, true, living God by whom we shall be saved to an everlasting life in your kingdom by our faith in your word and by your grace and favor upon us. Lord, you deemed us worthy of deliverance and adoption as children of a magnificent heritage in your Kingdom and we place absolute trust in your new Covenant established with us, through Jesus the Lord.
Father, we are alert and watchful of Satan’s snares, the distractions of the world and the persecutions that we are likely to face. But we are also confident that you, our Righteous God, will victoriously lead us to triumph. We believe and hope that your kingdom is at hand and that you will establish your rule which will extend to the ends of the earth. With resolute determination we fearlessly evangelize the good news of the holy gospel, and proclaim the truth of our God, our labors not ceasing until the truth reaches the corners of the world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
