Jeremiah 17: 7

2 August, 2024

Blessed are those who trust in the Lord; the Lord will be their trust.
Jeremiah 17:7

O Lord God, of richness and righteousness, you are an impartial God, raining your gifts without disparity, giving in good measure to the godly and the ungodly. But worldly treasures and gains are like sand, slipping through our fingers when it’s time to leave them behind. Precious are the graces you shower on the worthy faithful, for only in faith will a soul benefit of your saving grace and only your grace can lead to the ultimate gift and glory of salvation.

The one abiding in continual obedience to you, relies entirely upon you for every blessing he wants for his body or soul, for himself or others who are dependant upon him. Blessed are all of us who make your favor our treasured goal Lord, and your power our strength in every circumstance of our lives.

Trusting implicitly in you Lord, implies walking closely with you, and never departing from you, but having you abide in us as we in you. For it is in blind faith and reliance in you and your being with us and in us, that your protective mantle will envelop us and save us from fear and evil. The deeper our trust, the more our lives will be entrenched in you and nothing and nobody can break such holy commitment, in Jesus Name. Amen
