“For Jesus is sent by God. He speaks God’s words, for God gives him the Spirit without limit. The Father loves his Son and has put everything into his hands”. John 3:34-35
God our Heavenly Father, Provider and Sustainer of us all, Your Word tells us that You have entrusted all things to Jesus, because of Your great love for Your beloved Son. Lord, we are in awe of this divine relationship between the Father and the Son, built on perfect love and unity. We thank You for the gift of Your Spirit, poured out so generously, without limitation. Through the Spirit, we are guided into all truth and empowered to live lives that honor You.
We reflect on the abundance of Your Spirit, freely given to those who believe. Father, there are times when we feel weak, unworthy, or distant from You. In those moments, remind us that Your Spirit is ever-present, filling us with Your grace, strength, and wisdom. Let us not limit the work of Your Spirit in our lives but open ourselves fully to Your transforming power.
Your Word also speaks of the authority and love You have given to Jesus. This truth brings us comfort and assurance, knowing that all things are in His hands. Teach us to trust in His sovereignty, especially when life feels uncertain. Help us to surrender our fears, burdens, and plans to Him, believing that He works all things for good. May we walk in humility and obedience, speaking words of life and truth to those around us, just as Jesus has done. Mold us into vessels of Your Spirit, so we may reflect Your glory in a world that longs for hope. In the name of Jesus Christ, who reigns with You in perfect love, we pray. Amen
