WE LEARN TO TRUST THE LORD AND CAN BE HAPPY BY MEDITATING ON GOD’S WORD
He who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he. – Proverbs 16:20
In God’s Word we find the wisdom and counsel of the Lord for any situation in which we might find ourselves in, while living on this earth. Regardless of whatever century we live in, life’s problems are basically the same and the same basic principles apply to them. That is why by studying and focusing our thoughts on the Word of God, we find true happiness.
Because we know in Whom we trust and what the Lord can do for us, we cannot give in to worry and that is the key for peace and lasting happiness. In the Word of God we find all we need to know, as well as, the truth upon which we can strengthen our faith that gives us peace, thanksgiving and trust which brings true happiness!
SUGGESTED PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I find true happiness only in You. Thank You for opening my spiritual eyes to understand the truth of Your Word. Praise You for the wonderful promises I have in the Bible and for the truth that they are real for me as well. The deeper I study Your Word, the more I trust You and the happier I am! I am filled with gratitude for everything You have bestowed on me, dear Lord! Hallelujah! Amen
