MONTHLY DEVOTIONAL FOR 25 JUNE

THE 25th JUNE

THE LORD DELIVERS US FROM TROUBLES, SETS US FREE, AND BLESSES US.

He delivers the poor in their affliction and opens their ears in oppression. Indeed, He would have brought you out of dire distress into a broad place where there is no restraint, and what is set on your table would be full of richness. – Job 36:15-16

Elihu, the youngest of Job’s friends, appears to be the wisest as well. He pointed out that God uses the affliction and oppression brought by the devil for our good, helping us to hear the Lord more clearly, recognize our need for Him, and understand what we need to change.

Elihu was correct in stating that God delivered Job from his distress into a broader place than he had been before his trials, blessing him even more abundantly.

No matter how hard the enemy tries to destroy us, if we remain faithful to our Lord, He will increase our anointing during hardships so that we may overcome them. He will bless us even more once the hardships are over. Our Lord’s blessings are as generous as the rich foods on a banquet table. Everything works out more smoothly, and even our food tastes better when we maintain a happy and thankful heart.

SUGGESTED PRAYER

Thank You, dear Lord, for using for my benefit in the long term what the enemy intends for my destruction. You always deliver me from all hardships and teach me valuable lessons that I could not learn any other way. In You, I am never confined for long because, as long as I keep trusting You, I find the way out, and You provide the best solution for every situation. In You, I have true freedom, and Your blessings are beyond my imagination. Thank You and praise You forever and ever. Amen.
