THE HEALING AND BLESSING OF THE LORD ARE FOR THOSE WHO HONOR AND REVERENCE HIM
“But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves.” Malachi 4:2
To fear the Lord’s Name is to hold it in awe and reverence. This profound respect leads us to honor and please Him by living righteously. Through Jesus, the “Sun of Righteousness,” we are covered by His righteousness as our Lord and Savior. God, in His boundless love, forgives our sins and grants us healing through the powerful Name of Jesus Christ.
On the cross, Jesus bore our sicknesses, pains, and sorrows. As Isaiah 53:4-5 declares, “By His stripes, we are healed.” The joy and strength that come with God’s healing are like the freedom of calves leaping from the stall. If such promises were given under the Old Covenant, how much greater are the blessings we now have under the New Covenant through Christ, living in grace rather than under the law.
SUGGESTED PRAYER
Thank You, dear Lord, for Your righteousness and healing. There is no sickness You cannot heal, and in You, I am made whole. I praise You for the joy, strength, love, and care You bestow upon me daily. Glory and honor be to Your Holy Name, forever and ever. Amen
