BEING BORN AGAIN, WE ARE UNITED IN SPIRIT WITH JESUS
“But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” – 1 Corinthians 6:17
Our spirit undergoes a transformation through union with the Holy Spirit. In our innermost being, we are united with Jesus, and in our spirits, we reflect His perfection.
Being one in spirit with the Lord means that our desires align with His. We pursue holiness and righteousness, seeking to glorify Him in all that we do. As we grow in our relationship with Him, the fruit of the Holy Spirit becomes evident in our lives.
The more we love Him and immerse ourselves in His Word, the more His attributes replace the tendencies of our carnal nature. Our purpose on earth is to become more like Jesus, fulfill His works, and lead others to salvation. In the end, we will rejoice with Him for eternity.
SUGGESTED PRAYER
Lord, what a joy to know that I am united with You in spirit. In You, I have everything I need, and I am part of Your great family, the Church, which is Your body. Through the Holy Spirit, I have become “flesh of Your flesh” and “bone of Your bones.” I desire to walk with You every step of the way. Thank You for guiding me and helping me overcome the challenges of this world. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
