GOD CHOSE US TO LIVE HOLY BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD

“Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.” – Ephesians 1:4

God provided salvation for all humanity, but only those who accept Jesus’ sacrifice and live for Him will be saved. The Lord chose us to be His, and by asking Jesus to truly be our Lord, we are saved. He knew in advance that humanity would sin and that we could not earn our salvation. However, to reach heaven, we must continuously choose good over evil and love God above all else, living in obedience to Him.

God created us with free will, enabling us to choose to serve Him. Before creating the universe, God declared the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10), accurately foretelling the future. All the prophecies from God’s Word that needed fulfillment throughout history have come to pass, proving He knew all that every human being and all creation would do from the beginning to the end of time. Knowing that God chose us to be His in Christ is significant, but it is still up to us to choose Christ, truly follow Him, and endure to the end.

He has prepared the way for us, but we must choose to walk on it. Long before we were born, God knew everything we would do. He wants us to be holy, consecrated, set apart for Him, and to live a purpose-driven life. Our purpose is to imitate Jesus, become more like Him, and fulfill what God has called us to do.

SUGGESTED PRAYER

Dear Lord, thank You with all my heart for choosing me to follow You and for sending Your Holy Spirit to convict me of sin. Thank You for Your love and mercy, which You pour upon me daily to help me remain on the narrow path! I am who I am because of Your love and grace. Please help me, Lord, to follow You more closely and to know You better. Help me become all You want me to be, fully dedicated and sold out to You, accomplishing Your plan for my life. Help me understand Your love more and receive it daily. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen
