THE 4th OF JANUARY
ETERNAL CONSOLATION AND HOPE BY GOD’S GRACE
“For there are three that testify in heaven: the Father, the Word (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one.” – 1 John 5:7
The unity, harmony, and love shared between God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are perfect and inseparable. Each is eternal, uncreated, almighty, and limitless—coexisting as one God. While they are distinct in their roles, they function in perfect unity. The Father is the source of all life and goodness, Jesus is the Mediator who connects us to the Father, and the Holy Spirit fulfills and manifests our prayers in accordance with God’s will.
God desires this same unity with us. He longs for us to trust Him fully, to depend on His guidance, to obey His will in every decision, and to embrace His love, even when His plans are beyond our understanding. By grace, through the sacrificial love of Jesus, we have the greatest hope: the promise of eternal life in the place He has prepared for us.
SUGGESTED PRAYER
Dear Lord, help me to truly know and receive Your love, that I may love You with all my heart, mind, and strength, living in full obedience to Your will. Remind me that, no matter what challenges I face, You are always with me, drawing me closer to You. Teach me to surrender everything to You daily, so I may walk in Your blessings and inherit the eternal life You promise. To You be all glory forever and ever. Amen
