The 5th OF JULY

OUR PLANS WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF WE SUBMIT THEM TO OUR LORD AND WE TRUST IN HIS HELP

Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him], and your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].  Proverbs 16:3

Life can be so much easier if we learn to submit all that we do to our Lord and trust Him to help us do things right. The Bible urges us to give it all to the Lord (Matthew 11:28) and this is the shortest way to success. All that we have to do, our duties and responsibilities, may weigh heavily on our shoulders, but the good news is that we can give them all to Jesus. But how do we do that?

All the thinking and planning that go on in our minds about what we have to do, can become a burden and a source of stress. This is why we need to commit it all to our Lord, trusting Him for the right solutions and His help to do everything the right way. Once we give Jesus our problem and we ask for His direction in solving it, we should leave it there, stop worrying about it and trying to handle it in our own strength.

By learning to leave it all at our Lord’s feet, believing that His solution is the best, and then following His guidance, without stressing over things, our plans will truly succeed.

SUGGESTED PRAYER

Glory and honor to Your Holy Name, dear Lord! You always have the best solutions, and Your will is best for everything I have to do. Please help me give You full control over my life and duties and do it all as You lead me. Also, please help me always remember that I am weak and limited in my own strength and ability. You want me to succeed in what I have to do and that can happen only if I give You the leadership of it all. Please help me surrender it all to You and leave it there. Thank You for all Your help and patience. Amen.
