The 5th OF JULY
OUR PLANS WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF WE SUBMIT THEM TO OUR LORD AND WE TRUST IN HIS HELP
Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him], and your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance]. Proverbs 16:3
In life, we need to understand that to surrender all that we do to our Lord with absolute trust, will help us lead simple and worry-free lives.and help us do things right. The Bible tells us to submit all to the Lord (Matthew 11:28) as the shortest route to success. Although our duties and responsibilities may weigh us down, the good news is that we can give it all to the Lord. We need to learn how!
We think, stress, worry and make extensive plans, which may never reach fruition, because the Lord has already made plans for our future and we need to rely on his faithfulness and unshakeable promises, to avoid things which could become a burden and a source of stress. This is why we need to commit it all to our Lord, and acknowledge his solutions and his help to do everything the right way. There is no way that we can handle life on our own, without God’s help. When we place our lives in his hands, we will receive the blessings that follow our obedience.
By learning to leave it all at our Lord’s feet, believing that His solution is the best, and then following His guidance, without stressing over things, we need not want for help, for our help comes from our Lord and Maker.
SUGGESTED PRAYER
Lord God, we rejoice in your Glory for You do what’s best for us, and obeying Your Holy Will will is trusting You for all things in our life, great and small, for all things come from You. Please help us give You full control over our lives and follow Your footsteps, as You lead the way.. Also, please help us remember, that we are weak and limited in our own strength and ability. You wish that we succeed in what we have to do, if it is in accordance with Your plans for us. Please help us surrender all our worries and fear at your feet. We know that Your strength will work in our weakness and we place childlike trust and confidence in Your ways. Thank You Lord, for Your unconditional love and patience. Amen
