CHRIST JESUS CAME THAT HE MAY ABIDE IN OUR HEART
I sent the Spirit of My Son into your heart so you could call Me Father.
Galatians 4:6
Our Heavenly Father has given us an incredible gift in sending the Spirit of His Son into our hearts. Through this act of grace, He has made us His children, enabling us to call Him “Abba, Father.” This truth is both humbling and empowering. It reminds us that we are no longer slaves to sin or fear but adopted into God’s family, heirs to His promises.
His Spirit within us cries out on our behalf, drawing us closer to God. It transforms our hearts, aligns our will with His, and assures us of His constant presence. This divine connection gives us confidence in God’s unfailing love, even when we feel unworthy. It also calls us to walk in obedience, reflecting the love of Christ to the world around us.
We implore ou Father to help us to live daily in the awareness of our identity as God’s children. May our lives honor this gift of adoption, and may His Spirit guide us in every step, word, and action.
SUGGESTED PRAYER
Abba, Father, thank You for sending the Spirit of Your Son into my heart, making me Your child. Let Your Spirit lead me to live a life pleasing to You. Strengthen me to walk in love and faithfulness, always calling You my Father. In Christ Jesus’ Name I pray, Who abides in me. Amen
