Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. – Philippians 4:6
Heavenly Father, in your immeasurable goodness and kindness, you have arranged and provided for the spiritual and temporal needs of your created beings on earth, and you perfectly and flawlessly, attend to our every need, big and small. Whether in prosperity or in adversity, we know we can surrender totally, to your loving care. In trials, you shield, comfort, encourage, and give us forbearance to endure against all odds.
Our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ has revealed to us your unconditional love for us and has restored us to you by his messianic sacrifice. Jesus has taught us that by humble and sincere prayer, petition or invocation, we can approach you, through him, showng our apprecation and gratefulness for your tender mercies and blessings, of earthly, spiritual, and eternal nature. By careful supplication, you provide us hopeful deprecation of evils felt or feared, and avert your wrath and judgments.
With thankful acknowledgment of all offences forgiven, benefits conferred, and deliverances obtained, we present our prayerful desires on your altar, dear God. For in all circumstances, we know that you will provide what is needed by us to prosper and advance towards our heavenly goals. Placing our complete trust in you and fortified by your answer to our prayers, we submit to your loving care, seeking your approval and aid in all things, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
