“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed”
Proverbs 16:3
Dear Abba Father, I contemplate You, in awe of Your wisdom, mercy, and perfect plan for my life. Today, I bring all that I am and all that I do to You, committing every step, every effort, and every decision into Your hands. When I align my heart with Your will, when I place my plans under Your sovereign care, I can trust in the success that follows, not just as the world defines it, but as You define it. Lord, I confess that too often I rely on my own strength, wisdom, and understanding, believing that my way is best.
But in those moments Lord, remind me that true success comes not from my striving but from surrendering all I do to You. You are the Author of all wisdom, the Creator of all things, and the One who knows what is best for me. Help me to be diligent in my work, but also teach me to release my need for control. Let my efforts be an act of worship to You, not simply a pursuit of earthly achievement. Guide me in setting my goals and desires according to Your purpose for my life.
I ask for the courage to trust You, even when the path seems unclear, knowing that You direct my steps. Father, I pray that I may always commit my ways to You, not out of fear or obligation, but out of a deep trust in Your love and provision. Let me rest in the promise that when I offer my plans and ambitions to You, You are faithful to guide me towards what is good, holy, and life-giving. May my heart always seek You first, and in doing so, may the plans You establish for me lead to a life that honors and glorifies Your Name, in Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen
