Proverbs 21:21
Abba Father, you have created us to be perfect, in nature and attributes, and you have given us intellect and emotions, which, if the right balance is struck, and the right use is made, has the propensity to raise us spiritually to the highest level, in true imitation of Christ. All who walk in Christ’s footsteps, fervent in faith and belief, diligently endeavoring to attain salvation, are promised the reward they seek, through Jesus Christ the Lord.
Merciful God, we thank you for forgiving us the multitude of ingratitude and sins we have committed against you. We promise you faithfulness and sanctity of purpose and will continue striving to walk submissively in the path you have chalked out for us. We desire to gain righteousness and mercy, living in the constant exercise of these virtues, for you have willed that we so proceed, shedding ourselves of iniquity, becoming holy, and replacing hatred with love.
Lord, your promises are meant to shine in the Light of your Truth, and all who forsake worldliness, pressing forward in the mission entrusted to disciples of Christ, and honoring your covenant of love, are promised salvation and the redemption of their souls. We are cleansed and made whole, to live in true righteousness, obtaining eternal life, the precious wealth of being co-heirs of your kingdom and the high status of sonship, through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
