Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise. Be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good, his mercy is everlasting and his truth endureth to all generations. – Psalm 100:4-5
O Lord, our God, we give vent in loud voices to the extreme gratefulness and thankfulness overflowing from our hearts for your greatness and majesty, your graciousness and benevolence, your goodness and mercy, all of which are immeasurable and unsurpassed. We sing out our praises in joyful exultation and humble submission, meditating and contemplating your righteousness.
We come to your tabernacle, to your innermost holy places of reverential worship, accessible to believers by our faith, for it is by faith that we are saved and we exultantly sing in blessing you Lord, for making us worthy to stand before you, saved and justified in grace. Our Lord Jesus, our Messiah, has led us to freedom from the hands of Satan and procured for us by the shedding of his blood, deliverance, restoration and eternal life by our belief and your grace.
It is incumbent upon us that we acknowledge this high privilege by songs of praise on our lips and blessings in our sanctified hearts, eternally thankful unto you, O Lord, for revealing the great truths of your kingdom to us, for adopting us to sonship and for provision of raising us to co-heirs of your kingdom by your infinite love and enduring mercy. You have given us unshakable promises which you bestow on all who believe in you as the One, True, Living God, who is, and ever will be, everlastingly, as we revel in the perfect attributes of our Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
