I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1–2
O Magnificent God, your incandescent splendor and majesty lights up the firmament, revealing the greatness of your creation which never fails to astound us, enrich us and uplift us. You are the Light of creation and no crevice of darkness can exist where your light prevails. We stand illumined, justified and sanctified, as children of our loving and ever-living Creator God. You are our Refuge, our hiding place of consolation.
Lord, our faith is doubled and strengthened, with the sure knowledge of your saving grace, which rests upon the redeemed and the transformed. You saved us when we were wretched sinners, with the stench of wickedness and worldliness, totally ungodly and unfaithful. Our Messiah Jesus entered, incarnate, and in the flesh ministered to us, enlightened us and revealed to us your gospel of truth, love and mercy. He brought about the Salvation of the world, by the atoning sacrifice of dying for our grievances and purifying us with his blood, the sacrificial blood of the Lamb.
Lord, we lift our eyes up to the heavens, seeking you, knowing that you will supply all our needs, for we belong to you, our Maker, and no evil power or principality can separate us from the love of our Father. Your dictates are our command, your saving grace is our renewal in faith, your truth is the spirit prevailing in our heart and in our senses. We pray for the needs of all those living in ignorance of your blessedness, hoping to guide them, with faith, into the knowledge of your truth, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
