Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good.
Psalm 127:1
Sovereign Lord, God of Majesty and Creator of all, you are our Protector and you hold our lives in your hand. You have the plans for each of our lives drawn out and we rely on your Divine Mercy, for each event in our life today processes and functions in absolute obedience to you. Without you, Lord, we are nothing but dust. You are our Master of salvation, Who has rendered unto us, form and life.
Everything proceeds from you, O Lord and every aspect of our lives need your blessings and assistance. All progress in furthering the things of the world come from you. You bless the hands working towards building and inventing. Nothing can stand if it does not have your consent, for any labour working of its own accord, can never come to fruition, if it is against your Holy Word.
Lord, we need your acceptance, your approval, guidance and watchfulness. Without your blessing for every plan or undertaking, no prosperity can be expected, or achieved, and the work, however hard the endeavors, will remain stagnant and will not be accomplished. We pray to enjoy your grace and favor, for we are your children, under your divine protection. We pray that all our works, within the family and without, will be performed in obedience to your Will, having your protection, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
