Psalm 139: 13-14

16 January, 2022

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. – Psalm 139: 13-14

Eternal Father, Everlasting God, you have created the entire universe and all forms of life dwelling in it. Your works, O God, are powerful and wondrous and we adore, worship and magnify your Holy Name. You have created mortal life and woven it in the most intricate and intriguing manner, incomprehensible and flawless, as only you can, dear Father. Every little, minute detail you have twined and intertwined in the most formidable way, to result in perfection.

You have covered each creation with the most amazing detail, and given us the breath of your own, carefully placing us in the protection of our mother’s womb, nurturing us in this safe and secure environment, right upto the moment of our birth. All power and glory are yours, for the care with which we have been providentially sustained, the complex, most incomparable structure of our inner beings, all integrated and fitted, completely and marvellously designed.

You are the Author of our Lives and the Beginning and Finisher of our existence. With your perfect plans and Divine Providence, we have been molded to achieve the purpose you have lovingly designated to each of your wondrous works. We live for the sake of your glory and dedicate all honor to you, Lord, for establishing us on the earth, filling us with wonder and astonishment, at your works and with the dread of your majesty. We live in faith and hope of the salvation you have given us and look forward to accomplishing our ministry on earth, in order to better enjoy the fruit of our labor, in the dispensation of your grace and favor in Jesus’ Name. Amen
