I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul. Psalm 31:7
Lord God, every day I remember your faithfulness and recognize the innumerable acts of fidelity, mercy, love and healing which you have administered and wrought in my life. You are our Divine Physician and at opportune moments comprehend our direst need and lift us out of the dark chasms of despondency into the pure and glistening rays of your grace and justice.
Father, we delight in wonderment and rejoicing, when we encounter and experience your protection around us and our beings are revived with the living waters flowing through the Power of your Holy Spirit, quenching the thirst of our hearts, with the hope and trust that only your presence can bring.
You never fail us Lord, and know our suffering, our weaknesses, our griefs, with tender love and empathy, reassuring our spirits and patiently listening to our needs and fears. You neither judge nor abandon us, acknowledging our human nature and mending our shattered minds, relieving us of our burdens of body and spirit and restoring our faith in your providence and your promises.
Lord, in your omniscience, you know everything your creation has, is and will be facing and your perfect plans take shape and meet every contingency, heal us, strengthen us, give us deliverance from our adversaries and redirect our falling feet, till we reach your kingdom and merit our salvation through our faith and your grace. This assurance is ours, as long as we pursue you with just hearts and integrity of purpose, abiding always in Christ and he in us. Amen
