Psalm 59:16

22 October, 2024

But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. – Psalm 59:16

God our Father, under whose protection we have placed ourselves, so that no evil can attack us, you are an All-powerful and Incredible, Omniscient God, and you deliver us in honor and faithfulness. Your Power O Lord, is greatest in our weakness, for we accept and acknowledge you, without doubt or resistance and with complete faith. We are full of gratefulness and adoration, worshiping you in song and praise of our All-sufficient, Benevolent Father.

We glorify your Name Lord, for in the darkest moments of calamity, you come into our yearning hearts, hear our pitiful pleas, and hasten through the Power of your Holy Spirit, to make manifest the light of your grace and saving power. We rejoice O Lord, in beholding your beatific mercy for your faithful servants, and your splendor in making all things new, rewarding our belief by your deliverance and helping us, who take refuge in you.

You are our stronghold Lord, and never fail us, for your righteous love is great for those who fully trust in you and we offer our total surrender, clinging to you in our anguish, knowing that by bolstering our faith in you, all our burdens you will make light. We sing of your mercies, lifting our hearts and our voices in praise of you. For we want for nothing, because your grace is sufficient for us, Father, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
