You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. – Psalms 23:5-6
Eternal Father, I am in awe of Your provision and protection. You prepare a table for me, a symbol of Your abundant grace and care, even when I am surrounded by challenges and adversaries. In the midst of trials, You do not forsake me but instead, You provide for me in ways that surpass my understanding. I thank You for being my refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.
You anoint my head with oil, signifying Your blessing and favor upon me. This anointing is a reminder that I am chosen, set apart, and dearly loved by You. It symbolizes the healing, empowerment, and sanctification that come from Your Holy Spirit. I ask that You continue to fill me with Your Spirit, guiding me in Your truth and love, that I may walk in the path You have set before me. Thank You, Lord, for Your everlasting love and care. May my life be a testament to Your goodness, and may I continually seek to dwell in Your presence all my days.
My cup overflows with Your goodness and mercy. Lord, I acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You. Your blessings are abundant and Your grace is sufficient for every need. Help me to always have a heart of gratitude, recognizing Your hand in every aspect of my life. I hold onto the promise that Your goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life. No matter what comes my way, I trust in Your steadfast love and faithfulness. I find comfort in knowing that I will enter Your presence at the end of life, to enjoy fullness of joy and eternal peace. In Jesus’ Name, I make this prayer, Amen.
