After this I had a vision of a great multitude, which no one could count, from every nation, race, people, and tongue. They stood before the throne and before the Lamb, wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands. They cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation comes from our God, who is seated on the throne, and from the Lamb.” – Revelation 7:9-10
O Lord God, King of all creation, you are the Alpha and the Omega, First and Last, Beginning and End, and every nation, and every type of individual in every nation, is yours, which you have formed and breathed life into and you will, at the end of time, draw them all unto yourself. Each and everyone of us is yours and will finally return to you, redeemed and delivered, purified and sanctified, to stand in your presence and worship and thank, giving you glory forevermore.
Father, you sent the prophesied Messiah to make this possible, dying and atoning for the sins of the whole world, as a sacrificial Lamb led to the slaughter and made a ransom, to save and draw all men away from their wickedness into the pure light of redemption. Like a Good Shepherd, he accounted for all the sheep and made sure that every sheep returned to the fold. He left the ninety-nine in safety, to save the one lost!
We are led, not by might or power, but by the Holy Spirit, to follow the Lamb of God, our Savior Jesus Christ, who, by the Holy Word of your gospel of truth and revelation, leads us, by love, which is your new commandment, into loving communication with you, everloving God and Father. Christianity is a spiritual force and impulse, that fully transforms man, to a perfection in the image of God, Christlike and Christ centered, stirring all that is great and noble in the soul. Lord, bestow upon us the fragrant spirit of the power of your love, to transmit it to all we meet and as we evangelize, draw all to heaven’s open gate.
Lord God, all Holiness, Ever-Faithful, we turn to you, worshipping the Splendor of your Majesty, and earnestly praying that your kingdom may come. We pray for the second coming of Jesus and the day of judgment, which will seal the fate of each soul confronting you for their reward according to their lives lived on the earth. May your Jerusalem really come on earth, with all the blessed and saintly multitude who are allowed to gather around Jesus Christ through forgiveness of sins and the resurrection.
Shine your light into the hearts of human beings in our present time, to instill hope into our hearts and to deepen our belief so that we may realize our faults and seek the forgiveness of our sins, and so that people may find the joy of salvation. Remember those in great distress, Lord. Come with your help to those struggling with sin or death, for help can come from you alone.
May we rejoice, knowing that Jesus, the Lamb of God, has already gained salvation for the world and we need not fear, living exemplary and committed Christian lives and walking with the Lord, for we are children of our Father and we know that you have embraced us as your children. Nothing can help us except the love of our Heavenly Father. We wait for this love to lead us to you, in Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
