Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us… – Hebrews 12:1
Heavenly Father, we worship and blessings Your Holy Name, for You are the Mighty and Ever living God of the entire Universe. We belong to the chosen ranks consecrated to our Savior, and we are your children. We want to be joyful and full of faith, full of hope, full of patience, for your mercy leads us on. We are grateful for the great cloud of witnesses that surround us, those faithful ones who have gone before us and whose lives bear testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness.
Lord, we acknowledge that there are many things in our lives that hinder us, and sins that easily entangle us. We ask for Your strength and grace to throw off these burdens. Help us to recognize and let go of anything that holds us back from fully living out our faith and following You wholeheartedly. Jesus has shown us the true way to your Kingdom Lord, and we endeavour to persevere on that path. Though we pass through sudden and brutal, painful entanglements, we brush them aside taking your Holy Name
Grant us perseverance, Father, as we run the race marked out for us. We know that this journey is not always easy, but with Your guidance and support, we can endure. Fill us with Your Spirit, that we may run with endurance and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Thank You for Your unending love and for the example set by those who have run this race before us. May their legacy inspire us to live lives that honor You, bringing glory to Your Name in all that we do. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen
