The Lord’s unfailing love and mercy still continue, fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise. The Lord is all I have, and so in him I put my hope.
Lamentations 3:22–24
Father God, we exalt and glorify our Mighty, Omnipotent, Omniscient God, for your unfathomable mercy is always there to shelter, defend, guide, save and heal us in our unworthiness. We thank you that in all circumstances you abide with us and uplift us when we go through sorrow, grief and turbulence in our lives. We exult in the goodness and faithfulness of our righteous God.
Lord, your unfailing love towards humanity never is unparalleled and your mercies are fresh as the morning dew. From sunrise to sunset we can place are trust in the unfailing river of your tender compassion. It is by your mercies that we have passed through dangers unscathed. It is because of your mercy that we have been kept from complete destruction by the enemy of our soul.
May your goodness and kindness penetrate our entire being so that we can know and be glad that your Spirit guides us. Give us your strength in our weakness Lord, to help us in the struggle and toil of our life. Through your help and comfort, your grace and benefits, everything becomes fruitful, good and evil, life and death, health and suffering. We will trust you and follow you all the days of our lives, for only in you are we fortified and sanctified, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
