Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!” – Luke 1:45
Abba Father, Loving, Faithful, Just and Unchanging Promise-Keeper, it is only deep, pure and intense belief that all your promises to us will be fulfilled, that helps us to carry our cross in faith and trust of your mercy and unfailing justice. Father, you are truth and love, and the words once spoken by you, will not return to you empty, but will grant all that you have promised, for you are our Protector and provide all our needs according to the riches of your glory, in Jesus’ Name.
We humbly implore your assistance in all we say and do, in every moment of our being. We are assured that you will safeguard and preserve us from evil doing and will shield us from the wickedness and perverse influences that threaten to shake our faith. We seek refuge from the enemy who tempts us, by lying against your truths. We stand in obedience to our God, just as Mary’s faith in everything you said to her, remained unshaken. She was blessed, as the mother of the Messiah, for choosing to believe your words, despite the hardships she would experience, and we emulate her beautiful example of serving by obeying your Holy Will.
Help us to grow in the knowledge and understanding that, having a staunch, unwavering faith in you, is the strong foundation of true happiness, trust, confidence, and ultimate success in life. Only through such faith can we be recipients of all your promises, for to disbelieve is to build a chasm between our God and ourselves, distancing us from you. We have, through the Power of the indwelling Holy Spirit, built up resistance against the wicked and false oppressors and pray that we may always abide in you, through Jesus, in his Holy Name, Amen
