MONTHLY DEVOTIONAL FOR 10 MARCH

THE 10th OF MARCH

GOD FULFILLS HIS PROMISES

“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” – Numbers 23:19

God is all-powerful, yet He respects the free will He has given us. When we choose the wrong path, He warns us—sometimes through our conscience, other times through others—but He does not force us to do what is right. Compelling us to obey would go against His very nature. Instead, He honors our ability to choose.

We have all experienced the Holy Spirit’s gentle correction when we are about to say or do something wrong. However, He never imposes His will upon us; the choice remains ours. The same applies to those who wrong us—God warns them through their conscience, urging them to reconsider, but ultimately, they decide whether to act on their intentions. Even when they proceed with their harmful plans, God continues to work on our behalf, bringing good out of the situation. In His love, He intervenes when necessary, preventing harm beyond what can be used for our growth or redemption.

Though pain and suffering are difficult to endure, we find comfort in knowing that this life is fleeting compared to eternity. God shares in our suffering, and when we seek His help with a pure heart, He strengthens us, molds us, and draws us closer to Christ. Jesus endured unimaginable suffering so that we might be saved and spend eternity with Him. No love can ever compare to His!

SUGGESTED PRAYER

Lord, all glory and honor belong to You, for You are the very essence of truth and justice. You are faithful to Your promises, and whatever You begin, You bring to completion. Thank You that as long as I walk in obedience, the enemy has no power over me, for I remain in You, and You in me.

Jesus, help me never forget the depth of Your love and the price You paid for me. Keep my heart pure, and guide me to live in a way that pleases You. Let me be attentive to Your warnings when I am about to say or do something wrong. Thank You, Lord, with all my heart. Amen
