THE 12TH OF MARCH
JESUS IS THE SOURCE OF LIFE, WHILE THE DEVIL IS THE SOURCE OF DEATH
“I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” – John 10:10
God is the giver of all that is good, just as the devil is the source of all that is evil. Jesus came to bring us life—not just any life, but a life full of joy, blessings, and purpose here on earth, and an eternal, perfect life in heaven. While Jesus acknowledged that we would face difficulties in this world (John 16:33), He also assured us of His peace and victory. Through Him, we too can overcome the challenges of life.
True peace comes when we rest in Jesus’ love and protection, regardless of our circumstances. The more we love and follow the Lord, rather than being drawn to the fleeting pleasures of the world, the more joy and fulfillment we will experience. Many of our struggles arise from engaging with the world around us, and we must wisely choose how we respond to situations and people beyond our control.
The devil seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. One of his greatest deceptions is making us believe that God is responsible for our hardships. He wants us to think that sickness, suffering, or trials are God’s way of punishing or teaching us a lesson. However, the truth is that all evil originates from the enemy. Blaming God for our troubles only serves the devil’s purpose and blinds us to the Lord’s love and goodness.
SUGGESTED PRAYER
Thank You, Lord, for being the source of every good thing in my life. Help me always remember that any evil I face comes from the enemy, not from You. Thank You for strengthening me through every trial and for comforting me in my pain. Jesus, You came so that I may have life and have it abundantly. In You, I lack nothing—there is no one and nothing that compares to You. Every good and perfect gift comes from You, and You remain the same yesterday, today, and forever! Glory and honor to Your Name forever! Amen
