LET US BE STRONG IN CHRIST THE LORD

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. – Ephesians 6:10

God has given us all we need to be victorious over Satan, through Jesus Christ. We need to strengthen ourselves in the Lord and in the power of His might. The Holy Spirit was the source of power for Jesus, while He lived in human form, and He is our source of power too. He is our Helper, which means that He does not force us to do anything, but helps us when we ask Him and gives us the strength we need in every situation.

Until the crucifixion, Jesus was never separated from His Father, and they always had a close relationship. We should follow Jesus’ example in being obedient, praying and following God’s direction all the time. By praying, studying and meditating upon the Word of God, by praising and worshiping the Lord, we strengthen our “inner man of the heart,” and we are able to overcome the strategies of the devil.

SUGGESTED PRAYER

Lord, I am grateful for the strength I have in You. Please assist me to remember that You did all it takes to give me strength, and to enable me to walk in Your power. Lord, please give me a better understanding of Your Word so that I may be fortified, take courage, and know how much You love me.. Please help me know Your will in every situation, as through the Holy Spirit, Christ abides in me and I in him. Thank You Abba Father, for all the heavenly blessings, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
