THE 16th OF DECEMBER

PUTTING ON GOD’S ARMOR TO TRIUMPH IN SPIRITUAL WARFARE

“Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.” – Ephesians 6:13

To navigate life faithfully and stand firm in our faith, we must equip ourselves daily with the full armor of God. Without it, we become vulnerable to doubt and discouragement, allowing the enemy to convince us that our trials and struggles mean we are undeserving of God’s love. But God’s truth remains unchanging: His love for us is constant and unwavering.

Jesus, though sinless, faced rejection, mockery, imprisonment, brutal suffering, and crucifixion. Despite enduring such torment, He never doubted the Father’s love or His purpose. His sacrifice was driven by His immense and unending love for us, proving His commitment to our salvation.

When we align our thoughts with God’s Word, we gain a deeper understanding of His love for us, a love that does not depend on our circumstances. By renewing our minds with His truth, we can stand firm, even in the most challenging times, and experience victory through Jesus Christ.

SUGGESTED PRAYER

Lord Jesus, all glory and honor belong to You for bearing such suffering on my behalf. Thank You for making me victorious and granting me authority in Your Name. Help me remember to put on Your armor daily, relying on the Holy Spirit who lives within me and is always ready to guide and strengthen me. In Your Name, Jesus, I can face every battle and stand firm, unshaken, and triumphant. Heavenly Father, empower me to enjoy each day and fulfill the purpose You have set before me. Amen
