THE BENEFITS OF HOLY FEAR
Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
Psalms 34:9-10
The fear of the Lord is essential in our journey with Christ. “His saints” refers to all sincere believers who are set apart for God, choosing to follow His guidance rather than the desires of their sinful nature. Jesus is the only one who lived a sinless life, and though none of us is perfect, through His sacrificial blood, we are cleansed when we repent and seek forgiveness. This makes us righteous and holy in God’s sight.
God faithfully provides for His children. Everything we could ever need has already been created by Him. However, receiving what we pray for requires faith in His provision. Those who rely on their own strength and consider themselves self-sufficient will always feel a sense of lack, no matter how much they possess. In contrast, those who trust in God, honor Him in their work, and acknowledge Him as the source of their blessings will experience abundance and never be in want.
SUGGESTED PRAYER
Thank You, Lord, for always providing more than enough. I am deeply grateful for Your love, mercy, and care. It brings me such comfort to know You are always with me and for me. Whatever challenges I face, I trust that You have already equipped me to overcome them. As I sincerely seek You with all my heart, You open the heavens and pour out Your blessings upon my life. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen
