MONTHLY DEVOTIONAL FOR 30 NOVEMBER

THE 30th OF NOVEMBER

WITH THE LORD, WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS

“Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.” – Numbers 14:9

Perspective and attitude can change everything. God instructed Moses to send twelve spies, one from each tribe, into the land of Canaan, which He was giving to the Israelites. Upon their return, ten spies—whose hearts were not fully devoted to the Lord—gave a discouraging report, focusing on the strength of the Canaanites. This caused widespread fear among the Israelites, leading them to rebel against Moses and Aaron.

Only Joshua and Caleb, who fully trusted and loved the Lord, saw the Canaanites’ vulnerabilities and believed in God’s promise to help His people conquer the land. The Canaanites had reached the height of their sin, and God intended to deliver them into Israel’s hands. However, due to the Israelites’ doubt and rebellion, their entry into the promised land was delayed by forty years.

Each of us has a “territory” to conquer to see God’s promises fulfilled in our lives. With obedience and trust, we can claim what He has promised. Yet, disobedience can come at a significant cost.

SUGGESTED PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible promises in Your Word—those already fulfilled and those yet to come. You are always faithful, and because You are with me, I have no reason to fear. Help me to trust You wholeheartedly, to never doubt Your love, and to believe in Your willingness to bless and guide me. Lord, strengthen my faith and cure any unbelief. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen
