TODAY’S GOSPEL READING
17 MARCH, 2025
Luke 6:36-38
Jesus said to his disciples:
“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
“Stop judging and you will not be judged.
Stop condemning and you will not be condemned.
Forgive and you will be forgiven.
Give and gifts will be given to you;
a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing,
will be poured into your lap.
For the measure with which you measure
will in return be measured out to you.”
THE GOSPEL OF THE LORD!
REFLECTION
In this passage, Jesus calls us to be merciful, just as our Heavenly Father is merciful. He reminds us that the way we judge, forgive, and give to others will be measured back to us. This challenges us to examine our hearts—are we quick to judge or slow to forgive? Are we generous in love and kindness, or do we withhold goodness? Jesus encourages us to reflect God’s grace in our relationships, knowing that when we show mercy and generosity, we receive even greater blessings in return.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your endless mercy and love. Help me to reflect Your compassion in my daily life. Teach me to forgive as You forgive, to love as You love, and to give without expecting anything in return. Fill my heart with generosity and grace so that I may be a vessel of Your kindness. May my actions reflect Your goodness, and may I always trust in Your abundant provision, In Jesus’ Name. Amen
